Network Security Manager/Analyst



The Network Security Manager / Analyst is responsible for assisting in building, monitoring and defining repeatable processes and automation in an effort to manage security issues and projects across our company. In conjunction with other team members, identifies problems, analyzes and provides advice to enhance the system security. The staff must be a highly self-motivated individual with a strong ability for seeing complex projects through to completion. A passion for learning new security technologies and concepts of information security, regulatory compliance, and data privacy are key drivers to success in this role.  This position will represent ABH® and its services in a positive and professional manner and adhere to ABH®’s best practices, guidelines, policies and procedures as established, promoting ABH® as a leader in behavioral healthcare in all interactions and work.


  • Manage security issues, work with technical and non-technical internal staff and consultants to track progress, report on security status and ensure its remediation;
  • Automate processes and technology to gain efficiencies in security remediation efforts;
  • Work as a team member in the escalation path for Security operations events, which require analysis and further escalation;
  • Daily monitoring and intrusion detection and protection analysis to determine if there have been any attacks on the system and analysis of network traffic to identify anomalies, and test the information security controls for weaknesses;
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly operations verification across scheduled security activities, including infrastructure penetration and vulnerability scans, review of user access;
  • Supporting the organization's Information Technology and data privacy policy, procedures and controls which includes working with outside audit teams for SOC and other audits;
  • Support information security inquiries from other staff within the company;
  • Stay up-to-date on industry and security trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.;
  • Develop and maintain documentation on system security and management tools;
  • Maintains confidentiality of all client protected health information and adheres to all HIPAA related reviews, goal setting, etc;
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior and cultural sensitivity in all activities involving individuals of diverse backgrounds.
  • Performs other tasks/responsibilities as required to support the business operations.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required (equivalent work experience may be considered);
  • 5+ years of experience working in a security focused role;
  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise networks, and Windows/VMware infrastructure;
  • Security certification such as Security+, SSCP, CCSP, CISA or CISM is a plus;
  • Attends annual Conflict of Interest training.


  • Experience managing security tooling in an enterprise environment (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security tools, etc.);
  • Firm grasp of information security tools, technologies, security strategies and their implications on the broader business environment;
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles as a means of relating business needs to security controls;
  • Solid understanding and experience in various IT and security frameworks;
  • Experience working with and managing policies, procedures, standards and guidelines related to SSAE18, NIST and PCI Information
  • Aptitude to work in a team environment, attain cross-functional collaboration and consensus building;
  • Ability to work in a face-paced environment with changing priorities;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
